This treatment program focuses on issues which are pertinent to recovery and stabilization that include self-esteem and self-worth, empowerment, and positive lifestyles.<br /><br />Susannah's House, an alcohol and drug treatment program for mothers in recovery, is a faith-based organization that exists to serve the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of mothers and their children.<br /><br />Women who choose to participate in the program at Susannah's House will be able to receive a number of services on site as well as assistance receiving services off site. There are a number of groups and services that are offered at Susannah's House to support mothers and their children, described in more detail below. <br /><strong>Services</strong><ul> <li><strong>Physical:</strong> Susannah's House will strive to meet the physical needs of the mothers and their children by providing referrals to appropriate agencies for housing and medical needs. Susannah's House members will also have the option to earn points for participating in activities to use in the Susannah's House store to purchase baby, infant, and child items, school supplies, clothes, and hygiene products. </li> <li><strong>Spiritual: </strong> Childcare is provided at no cost for children birth - 5 years in a trauma-informed setting.</li> <li><strong>Emotional and Mental</strong>: Therapists licensed in the mental health field are available to provide on-going individual therapy to members at Susannah's House.</li> <li><strong>Financial: </strong>Susannah's House offers a variety of supports for mothers seeking to manage their financial well being. Budgeting classes, assistance with creating resumes, interviewing skills, and job skills are also offered.</li> <li><strong>Social: </strong>Susannah's House offers an opportunity for members to connect with other mothers in a similar situation and build a healthy support system in recovery, spiritual, educational, and fun classes. Individual therapy is offered along with treatment for trauma in mothers and children. </li></ul>
