Aspell Recovery Center- Savannah

About

Aspell Recovery - Hardin County is a Dual Diagnosis, Substance Abuse, Drug Treatment Facility in Savannah, Tennessee offering diagnosis and treatment for Substance Abuse and Dual Diagnosis through outpatient, Intensive Outpatient with or without structured supervised housing, and Aftercare programs. Outpatient treatment with the option of supervised and structured transitional living at 700 Pinhook through our 12-bed transitional living facility is available for participants of our intensive outpatient program (IOP) who may be in need of a safe home, adequate social support, and reliable transportation. During residency, the clients are assisted with job placement, case management as well as required to attend regular 12-step meetings. However, clients who have these supports in their home environments do not have to live on our campus to receive IOP services. In addition, we provide semi-structured and supervised extended living at 1090 Pinhook for clients who have completed our 1st phase of treatment. The transitional housing program provides an alcohol and drug-free supportive living environment for men ready to begin rebuilding their lives during their minimum stay of 3-months.

Referral / Admission

  • Admission criteria
    • Eligibility criteria may vary, but often includes some combination of the following: • Substance use diagnosis with or without a mental health diagnosis per the DSM-IV • Inability to cope with use of a substance in a healthy way • Impairment emergent from substance use or dual diagnosis that is not severe enough to require hospitalization • Not in an immediate danger to themselves or others around them. If that is the case, hospitalization is more appropriate. • An order from the court for an individual to participate in an intensive outpatient program • Individual’s ability to continue to live in their current setting and carry on with living requirements may indicate client needs additional service such as structured and supervised housing. • Individual is not actively experiencing severe acute withdrawal symptoms. If that is the case, detoxification settings and partial or full hospitalization may be warranted. • Individual has internal/external motivators to change current circumstance. Individuals are often ordered by a court to attend an intensive program Obviously, interest in getting better increases the chance of success. • We will not accept those who are actively using substance(s); however, admission is dependent upon a commitment to enter a supervised housing program. • Individual is referred by a residential facility, a hospital, or a psychiatrist for counseling under an intensive program
  • Referral process
    • We accept clients through legal, medical. and self-referrals. Call us at 731-438-3214 for a prescreen and referral to the proper level of service.
