Established in 1989, Synergy Treatment Centers is a licensed 6 month residential program (with a 1 year option) which provides comprehensive services to adults with primary substance use and co-occurring mental disorders. Long term residential treatment is an opportunity for many who need extended treatment greater than 30 or 90-days. Synergy collaborates with community partners by placing clients in employment in exchange for their treatment. The program uniquely integrates residential, intensive outpatient and outpatient levels of care, evidence-based clinical treatment, and job skills training to increase long-term recovery and successful transition to the community. Synergy’s mission is to empower individuals with drug and alcohol addictions and co-occurring disorders with the tools to transform their lives. Synergy’s treatment values emphasize hope, integrity, accountability, human dignity, mutual respect, confidentiality, tolerance, and trust. Synergy’s comprehensive clinical treatment program integrates motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral, trauma informed, and 12 step facilitation approaches. Services provided include diagnostic assessment, psychiatric evaluation, medication management, individual and group therapy, case management, family education, and referrals for medical, dental and eye care. Synergy accepts referrals from across the state of Tennessee and out-of-state. This includes referrals from the criminal justice system, as an alternative to incarceration, and prison re-entry. Accepted forms of payment include public and private insurance and self-pay. Synergy is a SAPT, CTC, and ADAT-SPOT provider.
