We expect many of the individuals requesting our services may have co-occurring addiction and mental health disorders, and First Step Recovery Centers will conduct a comprehensive screening for all clients entering our programs to determine the appropriate level of care needed. First Step sees each disorder (alcohol/drug & mental illness) as primary. Treatment services are provided with this philosophy in mind.
