At Portland Wellness Center, Verna Bain, MD, and her team help the communities in and around Portland, Tennessee, stay healthy and active with comprehensive wellness care. With services ranging from men's and women's health, nutrition, and IV therapy to opioid and pharmaceutical addiction rehabilitation, Dr. Bain and her team help patients achieve optimal wellness.<br />Dr. Bain earned her medical degree at St. George's University School of Medicine in Grenada and served her internal medicine residency at the Metropolitan Hospital Center in East Harlem, New York. Dr. Bain is board-certified in internal medicine, sleep medicine, and addiction medicine.<br />At Portland Wellness Center, the team aims to educate patients about their health and wellness as well as provide comprehensive health care services. The practice is welcoming and soothing so that patients are comfortable and relaxed, whether they're coming in for a wellness check or addiction counseling.<br />The practice also never overbooks and schedules sufficient time for patients to meet with the doctors. This reduces the amount of time spent in the waiting room while optimizing patient care.
