- Admission criteria
- Nashville Addiction Clinic welcomes referrals for adult patients (18+) who meet diagnostic criteria for Opioid Use Disorder (OUD), with addiction originating at least one year prior to admission. Exceptions to the one-year requirement may be made for pregnant individuals, those recently released from incarceration (within six months), or former patients returning within two years of discharge. Prior to admission, all referred patients will undergo a comprehensive screening, including confirmation of DSM-5 criteria, psychosocial assessments (DAST-10, PHQ-9, GAD-7, COWS, SOCRATES, ACE), and treatment planning. Patients must be appropriate for outpatient treatment in accordance with state licensure and facility capacity. In the event of financial hardship, our Sliding Scale Program is available to eligible applicants. Referrals can typically be scheduled same-day, with prioritization given to pregnant patients and other urgent cases. All referrals are required to complete an online intake packet, available on our website at https://recoverycarecolumbia.com
