About
Memphis Shelby County Schools Mental Health Center is licensed by the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (TDMHSAS) to provide outpatient prevention, early intervention, and treatment services for students who are struggling with behavioral and emotional challenges. Our work creates a vital link between family, school, and community, helping remove barriers to academic success. Our licensed school social workers and school psychologists offer an array of services including: Individual, Group, and Family Therapy, Alcohol and Drug Intervention, Social-emotional learning groups, Functional Behavioral Assessment and Behavioral Intervention Plans, Emergency Crisis response, and Threat Assessments. All services are free of charge for Memphis Shelby County School students.
