Rocky Top Behavioral Health offers the opportunity to work toward recovery in a therapeutic community of peers 55 and older. Participants are provided a safe and supportive space to share their concerns, learn from one another and develop coping strategies. Our inpatient programs offer comprehensive medication management, with guidance and support from our dedicated healthcare professionals. Additionally, individuals have the opportunity to see a psychiatrist weekly to evaluate their medications and mental health needs, ensuring a comprehensive and tailored approach to care.

- Patient has to be medically cleared
- -Cannot have lines such as catheters, IV, oxygen, feeding tubes-they require a medical clearance -They must be able to complete ADLs with self or one person assistance -They must be able to self-propel in a wheelchair, for safety reasons -A dementia patient must have a mental illness or a serious emotional disturbance beyond dementia.
