Recovery Soldiers Ministries (RSM) is not a typical halfway house and not a casual recovery environment. It is a highly structured, disciplined, faith-based recovery program designed for individuals who are truly ready to change, commit, and rebuild their lives from the ground up. Our program operates much like a Bible-based boot camp. Days begin early (wake-up at 5:30 AM) and follow a consistent, structured schedule that emphasizes discipline, personal responsibility, respect, and order. Participants are taught practical life skills—from proper routines and accountability to healthy communication and work ethic—because lasting recovery requires more than sobriety alone. Our Mission Our heart is not just sobriety, but long-term stability and full life restoration. We believe deeply in helping individuals reclaim everything the enemy has stolen—identity, purpose, family, dignity, and hope. With God at the center, we walk alongside individuals as they rebuild their lives with intention and strength. We currently operate with a 71% success rate, reflecting our commitment to structure, accountability, and spiritual transformation. ⸻ Program Foundations Recovery Soldiers Ministries is: • Highly structured and disciplined • Fully faith-based and Christ-centered • Rooted in biblical principles Participants do not need to come from a biblical background. However, they must enter with informed consent, a willingness to live in a Christian environment, and an open mind. This is clearly outlined in the application process and discussed upfront. ⸻ Important Program Guidelines To ensure safety, focus, and effectiveness, the program includes the following expectations: • No smoking, dipping, vaping, or nicotine replacement products • No contact with anyone outside of immediate family • No contact with significant others unless legally married • Residents cannot come and go freely • Participants must be able-bodied and capable of work therapy This is a no-nonsense environment designed to eliminate distractions and create space for true transformation. ⸻ Work Therapy & Daily Structure The program operates on a work-study model: • Residents participate in a minimum of 8 hours per day of structured work therapy • This is therapeutic, not paid employment • Work therapy builds discipline, responsibility, teamwork, and confidence Once participants reach an approved phase, they begin receiving a bi-weekly scholarship stipend. This is used as a teaching tool to develop budgeting, financial responsibility, and stewardship skills. ⸻ Program Length & Progression • Minimum commitment: 12 months • Extensions may occur based on behavior, progress, and readiness • Around the 10-month mark, residents may transition into: • Approved employment • Approved housing Graduation occurs only after individuals have: • Maintained consistent employment • Passed drug screens • Demonstrated stability, accountability, and maturity ⸻ Who This Program Is Best For Recovery Soldiers Ministries is especially effective for individuals: • Coming out of long-term incarceration • Needing strong structure and accountability • Ready to rebuild life skills from the ground up • Willing to fully commit to a disciplined environment By graduation, our goal is for every individual to leave with: • A job • Transportation • Stable housing • Financial stability • A clear path toward a long-term career ⸻ Mental Health & Clinical Support While the program is not for everyone, we assess each applicant carefully. • Individuals with severe mental health diagnoses requiring higher levels of care (such as severe paranoid schizophrenia) may not be appropriate • Many lower-level diagnoses are manageable We have: • A Licensed Professional Counselor • A Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor (LADC) • A Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) We also operate with approved and unapproved medication lists, which is why completing an application first is essential. ⸻ Is This the Right Fit? Recovery Soldiers Ministries is for individuals who are ready—not curious. Ready to commit. Ready to submit to structure. Ready to work. Ready to change. If you are seeking comfort, convenience, or minimal accountability, this may not be the right fit. If you are seeking transformation, discipline, and lasting freedom, we invite you to apply. We are grateful for those who help individuals find the right recovery placement—and honored to walk alongside those who choose to step into this journey with us.
