The mission of Kentucky River Regional Prevention Center (RPC) is to plan and promote comprehensive alcohol, tobacco, and other drug prevention services in the center's eight-county region. The primary objective of the Regional Prevention Centers is to empower communities to implement policies at the local level that will have a positive and lasting effect on the community environment, thereby reducing the harmful consequences of illegal use and abuse of substances.
