This facility offers an multifaceted specialized intensive outpatient service for adult women with substance use, trauma and mental health issues. Assessments and treatment planning are individualized, and services include: individual, group and family therapy, case-management, and peer support. The program focuses on reducing stigma associated with women and addiction, building self-esteem and developing skills for recovery and quality of life. Many of these women have custody issues and the program also focuses on helping women develop parenting and nurturing skills. Adjacent to the facility is a recovery house that can be utilized by pregnant and parenting women who lack safe and stable housing. *Project A.D.D.V.A.N.C.E. is funded in part with Temporary Assistance to Needy Families funds through a contract between the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services and the University of Kentucky. *In accordance with Federal Law and US Department of Agriculture policy, this institution is prohibited from discriminating on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, religion or disability.
