Stable Recovery, Inc. is a long-term transitional living program for men early in recovery from alcohol and/or drugs. Our mission is “Stable Recovery exists to provide its persons in recovery from substance use disorder with safe and stable housing, while teaching them the skills of horsemanship and recovery, so that they can have the best chance at a sober and productive life.” Our vision: “Stable Recovery will change the face of the equine and sober housing industries by providing and promoting recovery utilizing the social model. We promise to always operate with integrity, always uphold resident rights, create a positive culture of empowerment where residents engage in governance and leadership, and develop staff abilities to apply to the social model. We will place emphasis on the individual and provide them the best opportunity for growth!” We are a peer driven therapeutic community based on four tenets: Accountability, Responsibility, Discipline, and Structure. We provide employment opportunities in the equine industry. All men participate in the School of Horsemanship at Taylor Made Farm where they learn basic horsemanship skills to help launch a career in the horse industry.

Definition of Abstinence: Medication-assisted treatment is allowed if you transition to the Sublicade shot or Brixadi. No methadone
