Divine Steps provides a wide variety of social services and behavioral health related services to help stop substance abuse disorder and social injustices. Divine Steps agency located in Louisville, KY serving all counties in Kentuckiana. Divine Steps has severed our community since 2010. We continue to provide drug and alcohol treatment services to women and men. Our agency has been a mainstay in our community contributing positively to our economic base, improving the lives of women and men therefore improving the lives of our community members. Divine Steps, a 14-bed facility, situated in Downtown Louisville where we offer a home like, rather than institutional, atmosphere for the residents. We require our residents to complete an educational curriculum designed to treat addiction. The recovery program is 6-12 months. Women/Men who enter Divine Steps are in the early stages of recovery. Referrals may come from the legal system, detoxification centers, individuals, family members, and churches. In order to successfully complete our program and establish recovery, they are required to secure employment and to pay rent, encouraged to pursue education, have a 12 Step sponsor, attend meetings, classes and programs regularly. They learn how to maintain employment, how to manage finances, how to improve relationships with their family members, and how to live in a sober and abuse free environment. We seek to address the very heart of issues confronting women transitioning from drug and alcohol use by boosting their self-confidence, developing life-skills, and improving their ability to identify resources within our community that can contribute to positive change and break negative cycles for a lifetime.

Definition of Abstinence: Divine Steps excepts MAT for harm reduction.
