Referral / Admission

Referral process
  • Prescreening process is completed to identify clients meet criteria for treatment in the areas of Common referral needs include appropriateness of level of care; Higher or lower level of care (detox, residential, IOP, outpatient, recovery housing) Sufficient medical health to complete the necessary requirements of the program with needed accommodations if appropriate. To ensure the client is an appropriate fit both in the areas of mental health and cognitive function. Once the screening is complete in addition to any additional clinical screening necessary for clearance the client can be cleared to come. The agency also accepts referrals from outside legal entities and community resources. These can be sent in via email or called in to the 24/7 intake line.
Admission criteria
  • It is the policy of Aria Kentucky LLC to provide clients with access to the most appropriate level of care and supportive services. When the needs of a client cannot be fully met within one of our facilities, referrals will be made to qualified outside providers to ensure continuity of care, client safety, and alignment with individualized treatment goals.

Medication Policies

Prescription Medication Policy Details
  • All outside medications must be verified by a licensed prescriber or pharmacist prior to administration. Verification includes confirming the medication name, dosage, prescribing provider, pharmacy, and current prescription status. Medication will be discussed with medical team to discuss the best course of care and if the client should remain on those medications once entering the treatment facility. Medications considered controlled substances or with high abuse potential may be restricted or substituted at the discretion of the facility physician. Expired, discontinued, or unverified outside medications will be safely disposed of by facility staff in accordance with DEA and state regulations.
