Everyday stress and problems may bring about issues that can be difficult to handle. This may affect not only the individual, but the entire family. Left untreated, these problems can worsen and potentially affect every part of a person’s life. The Trillium Center at Baptist Health Corbin offers a wide variety of behavioral health services to meet the needs of our community. The staff will help individuals gain control of their lives by teaching skills that will assist in dealing with their concerns. Individuals and families are also assisted in developing new skills to promote a healthy lifestyle focused on emotional, physical, and spiritual well being. Policies

Referral / Admission

  • Admission criteria
    • Adult Inpatient Medical Detox: • Experiencing moderate to severe withdrawal symptoms at time of evaluation (examples - vomiting, sweats, palpitations, tremors, diarrhea, auditory or visual hallucinations, headache, nausea, anxiety, depression, etc.) • Substance withdrawal could be life-threatening without medical intervention • Voluntarily agreeable to treatment Adult Intensive Outpatient Program • The patient possesses a DSM V diagnosis of substance dependence and is in need of the Intensive Outpatient Program to aid in sobriety • Must be coherent, rational and oriented for treatment • The mental state of the patient does not preclude his or her ability to comprehend and understand educational information presented • There is documentation that patient expresses an interest toward abstinence from the use of illicit substances • The patient must voluntarily admit to treatment and be stable without any major medical difficulties, and not in need of detoxification
  • Referral process
    • Adult Inpatient Medical Detox: • Present to the Emergency Department and ask to be evaluated for substance withdrawal and admission to the Detox Recovery Unit Adult Intensive Outpatient Program • Contact the Briscoe Clinic of the Trillium Center to request a screening (606-523-8521) The Briscoe Clinic (outpatient clinic) • Referral contingent upon insurance
