Hollyberry Recovery House, located in Hazard, offers a unique recovery opportunity to any woman with the desire to stay sober. Hollyberry offers structured, safe, and sober living and education to women seeking recovery from addiction to drugs and alcohol. While providing for her basic needs – food, shelter, and safety – Hollyberry House allows a woman to focus solely on her recovery with peer-led support, direction, and guidance through a blend of 12- step recovery, life and career training, volunteerism, and therapeutic interventions. Children from birth to 5 years old can stay with their mothers during treatment. Our objective is to support them by providing a safe atmosphere where they can build a foundation and ongoing support to last a lifetime. Individual stays vary, but generally average 9 to 12 months.

Referral process
  • An application must be completed prior to admission. The recovery house facilitator will review the application and interview the candidate.
Admission criteria
  • Must have 30 days abstinence from alcohol, illegal drugs, medications not prescribed or stable on MAT. Must be able to complete household chores and to live independently. Must be able to live cooperatively in a community.
