Changed Lives Recovery Community is a long-term 7 bed Sober living in the Hamburg area owned by people in recovery and ran by people in recovery. Hamburg House has a 6-month sobriety and a 40 hour a week job requirement to enter. If clients require services our agency offers psychiatric services and handle medication management, we provide individual counseling for mental health, substance abuse, and trauma. We provide DUI classes, Domestic Violence Classes, MRT Classes. We provide Intensive Out-patient Services (IOP), and Outpatient services (OP), Peer Support Services. We are unique in that we invest in our clients by sponsoring sober events. We don't just sit in groups talking we take you out and show you how to apply what you're learning. We sponsor events like Skydiving, Painting Classes, White Water Rafting, Horseback Riding, Asian Lights Louisville Zoo, Waverly Hills, Roller Skating, Laser Tag, Golfing, Dinners, Carnivals, Disc Golf, Christmas Programs, Camping, Canoeing, Cookouts, Countdown Games, Baseball etc....Changed Lives vision is to do 52 events a year. Change Lives offers transportation to IOP appointments. We are building a vision for the sober-living community in Lexington that connects people in recovery while learning to live sober.
