At Communicare we are committed to providing a safe, sober living environment to assist pregnant and parenting mothers navigate recovery while learning to address barriers to self-sufficiency and provide support for reunification or other person-centered parenting goals/plans. At our EasternCare 1 location we welcome children of all ages as well as all forms of MAT services as pathways to recovery. To foster a supportive environment, we utilize both staff and peer to peer contact to ensure each resident is getting the most out of their experience. We understand that parenting and recovery does not look the same for everyone and aim to support each individual's path to recovery and parenting.
Definition of Abstinence: Abstinence is directly related to, and defined by, the path chosen for recovery.
