Our mission is to provide patients with the medical and emotional support they need to be able to recover in an environment that is safe, judgment-free, affordable, flexible, but more importantly that provides results. We place most if not all the emphasis on the recovery process and less on the medication using safe, patient-centered tapering methods. We believe that patients battling addiction have the power to change their future; as research has shown that the mind has the capacity to change and adapt, a concept called “growth mindset” pioneered by Dr. Carole Dweck. In our expert opinion, the old saying of “once an addict, always an addict” is replaced by opportunity and hope. In our clinic we focus great time and effort coaching patients to cope with challenges in life while decreasing triggers and stressors using a solutions oriented approach. This ultimately leads to a decrease in relapses and ultimately a readaptation to society.
