SKYHope Recovery Program for Women
SKYHOPE is a long-term residential social recovery program for females who are 18 years of age and older who are seeking recovery from alcohol and other drugs. The primary goal of the Recovery Ky. The program, SKYHOPE, is to reduce isolation addicted persons feel, from the community and from one another, by improving their support systems and providing comprehensive services for abstinence, and for recovery to become a new way of life. SKYHope is a peer-driven community model where residents will change the way they think, feel their emotions, relate to others, and experience spiritual growth. SKYHOPE serves at least 100 women at any given time, and has four program components: Motivational Track 1, Motivational Track 2, Phase 1 and Phase 2 and takes approximately 6-12 months to complete the program which includes a transitional phase to employment, safe housing, college, etc. SKYhope core curriculum is a recovery model of the 12 steps of AA. Our program promotes overall wellness and recovery for the individual, family, and community. The facility is located in Somerset, Ky. and is a non-profit organization.

- Female—18 years or older In need of non-medical alcohol/other drug withdrawal in a safe environment. Not in need of acute medical care for any current or long standing condition. Women who are homeless or are marginally housed with a history of addiction. No history of sexual misconduct No propensity for violence as demonstrated in past behavior No uncontrolled mental health illness and no severe mental health diagnosis Be physically able to participate in the program Be capable of living a group environment NO Court Dates within 30 days for sexual abuse or harassment that involve possible criminal behavior
