About
Family Health Centers, Inc. offers Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) with naltrexone oral and injection (Vivitrol) for opioid and alcohol dependence. MAT services are available for adult primary care patients as part of their overall healthcare. Behavioral Health clinicians work collaboratively with patients and medical providers to create individualized treatment plans to address mental health, substance use, MAT, and health behavior change issues. Family Health Centers has 8 locations across Jefferson County. FHC offers counseling and psychiatric prescribing services at all site via telehealth after the proper consents are completed. In person psychiatric prescribing services are available at the West Market and Americana sites, along with Phoenix (which is limited to the homeless populations). Naloxone is available, free of charge, to patients and community members at the West Market and Phoenix sites.
