Lifeskills - Outpatient-Based Opioid Treatment Program
This program’s primary focus is to treat individuals who are suffering from opioid addiction, offering integrative programming to treat opioid use disorder. Based on The Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation’s Comprehensive Opioid Response with the Twelve Steps (COR-12) Treatment Model, emphasis is on “the long-term commitment to recovery and encompasses family, support groups, accountability and the recovery community.” While our program utilizes medical management as a tool to treat a chronic condition, the main focus is therapeutic treatment for opioid use disorder. For individuals seeking recovery from opioid use in an outpatient setting, a comprehensive approach is used to help clients begin and/or continue their new lives in recovery. When appropriate, recovery may be assisted by certain medications that support longer-term engagement in treatment. A substance use assessment is required to determine admission into our program.
