Roaring Brook Recovery
About
Recovery is not a destination. It is a way of living. Our evidence-based treatments provide a toolbox for your recovery. With these tools, we build a plan specifically for you. Although recovery is as unique as a fingerprint, it is a shared experience. Our center is a warm, welcoming space designed for fellowship. We believe that connection is the opposite of addiction. And together, we can get where we want to go. We Believe... Everyone is worthy. There is always hope. In our vulnerability, we find strength. Everyone's journey is different, but together we heal. You must surrender to win. Our Services Intensive Outpatient Treatment Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOPs) allow participants to receive intensive treatment while continuing their day-to-day lives and living at home. IOPs do not require detoxification or round-the-clock supervision. Medication-Assisted Treatment Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is considered the gold standard for opioid use disorders. We offer MAT as a potential component within a comprehensive individual recovery plan to address all aspects of a substance use disorder (SUD), in a safe, healthy, and sustainable way. Individual Counseling Individual counseling is an opportunity to receive support and experience growth during treatment. Participants develop the insight and skills to cope with anxiety, depression, anger, relationship challenges, parenting concerns, career challenges, and lifestyle factors often influenced by substance use. Group Counseling In group counseling, participants discover that they are not alone in their recovery journey. Surrounded by peers who are also in recovery increases a participant's understanding of their struggles, and exposes them to possible solutions. Groups consist of 8 - 12 participants to provide a safe and comfortable space for everyone. Peer Recovery Support Services In Peer Recovery Support Services (PRSS), professionals who have been successful in the recovery process offer hope and guidance to others on their recovery journey. Through shared understanding, respect, and mutual empowerment, PRSS helps participants stay engaged in the recovery process, reducing the likelihood of relapse. Outpatient Behavioral Health Services Outpatient Behavioral Health Services is a chance for participants who are stable in recovery but need continued clinical support to stay connected. We offer this service as an aftercare component for alumni of our Intensive Outpatient Program or participants referred by other care providers. Support Groups Support groups are an additional option for participants who are stable in recovery. These groups are an effective way to keep accountability strong for our alumni participants. We provide this service to alumni of our Intensive Outpatient Program as a component of aftercare. Neurofeedback Therapy Neurofeedback therapy, EEG, or brainwave biofeedback, is an intervention that maps and evaluates electrical activity and patterns in the brain. These sessions reinforce healthy brain function for participants also struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, and attention deficits to help them maintain their recovery.
