Rowan County - Intensive Outpatient
The Intensive Outpatient Program is a 4 month program with meetings occurring on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday of each week from 9am-12pm and Monday, Wednesday, Thursday of each week from 5pm-8pm. The program follows the matrix model and utilizes the 12 steps of sobriety. Case management and peer support specialists are utilized in order to provide additional supports for individuals enrolled in this program.

Policies
Referral / Admission
- Completion of assessment to determine need for substance use treatment.
- Referrals accepted from court system, attorney, community agencies, physicians, medical clinics, and Cabinet for Health and Family Services (child protection services). Referral form can be provided to these agencies upon request. Individuals may self refer to the program by contacting (606)-784-4800.
Medication Policies
- Individual can be admitted to the IOP program while utilizing prescription medication program to maintain sobriety. Individual would need to provide a release of information to allow program to validate the prescription and individual compliance with treatment.
